The Yachtmaster fits like the Daytona and is dressier than a GMT, a very interesting nuance of the Rolex range that I have discovered. The Platinum Yachty is a sleeper!

Got the exact same Daytona last week. Love it so much, choose between the Sub in Rolesor or the Daytona… Daytona won for me. Better fit, more elegant and for me just cooler. Great video

I have the 18 ct solid-gold Ref 116528 Cosmograph Daytona a 2005 D Series with the lovely 8 diamond-dot Black laquer dial, and also a two-tone GMT-MASTER 11 Ref 116713 as in this video. I cherish both equally. Cyrus

I have the Rolex Sub 116613LB which I purchased last year & in April of this year I purchased the newer version Daytona 116503 that was released in 2016 it also has the Classic White Dial with Gold Sub Dials. The Daytona is my favourite of the two though the Sub get's noticed more

Daytona is just a little bit too small for my wrist; thus why I got the bi-metal GMT. Ceramic Daytona ordered 3 years ago from One Hyde Park - i hear its another 3 years to wait :(. Cheers for the videos!!!!

Bijou Diamond Jewellery thanks for the response. We’re practically the same height. You’re right about size and proportions. Whenever I try on anything more than 40mm, it appears big on my wrist.

Generally I'm not a white face guy. I also am quite skeptical of the two tone look. And in this day and age I cannot imagine any business associate being offended by my GMT not looking dressy enough. The GMT is far more practical for my lifestyle. I prefer a larger watch. And I've never seen the excitement in having a chronograph.

They 2 tone used Daytonas are way over MSRP of a new one right now on the secondary market and for some which are several years old, if they come with box and papers, they sell for close to what a new 2 tone costs on the secondary market. I have yet to seen even a used 2 tone selling for the current MSRP even without box and papers
