I think the Yachtmaster is less popular because people havnt worn one so they don't realize how smooth and comfortable it is and it doesnt do anything special like the Submariner's supurb water resistance and the Explorer 2's GMT and the GMT or the Day Date it's just a good working Rolex that gets overlooked.
I absolutely agree with you about the comfort level on the YM. It's also a very simple watch which is why I enjoy it so much. Simple just like the Submariners.
Hello - sorry I actually don't recall as I have purchased this along time ago. It was actually custom made for me a long time ago. There are many out there in the market nowadays that are ultra comparable if not even nicer.
Don't think I'm confusing it. I have both. :) YM2 two-tone happens to be my favorite watch and color combo. The YM1 is not certainly not the popular Rolex family member. But nonetheless, I happen to like unpopular things.
