I think the difference between jorg and Rolf is jorg plays more fast than Rolf, but his sound is a little bit thin, Rolf is a bit slow, but his sound is more thick than jorg

@@malgdrummer that doesn't make any sense because if he played slower then his drumming wouldn't reach Timo's voice and neither would the rest of the instruments. Drums lead the timing on a song

@@adolfoalbornoz3730 if you watch the live version of speed of light you will know the differece, jorg is not better than rolf and rolf is not better than jorg, they have their own drum style.

Jörg thinner than Rolf? Rolf slower than Jörg? What? It's the opposite. Jörg is famous for is physical drumming and the volume of his playing and, while Jörg was surely one of the best and fastest Power Metal drummer in the '80s and' 90s, Rolf is clearly a faster and more technical drummer: Solution .45, Wintersun and sessions with Utopianisti shows how he can handle Jazz, Melodeath and Power/Folk and other bands like Smackbound and The Dark Elements are more AOR, Rock and Symphonic. Nowadays Stratovarius guys uses click tracks and that's why there isn't almost any rushed part while with Jörg tempo changes were "commom". And, beside that, it's stupid to compare different drummers with different styles as it was a competition, we're talking about music and not a race.

Like I said, they have their own drum style.

Thanks for nice words! With Stratovarius I don't use any triggering but while playing in Wintersun I used triggers for kicks blended with the acoustic sound as the speed and complexity of music really calls for that clarity the trigger provides
