The guy on bass is my Spirit friend hahaha I love how much he's getting into the song. One of my all time favorite songs and I have high expectations for covers of this song but you folks nailed it!

The key is, it is not live. We record each track separately. In some cases video for each individual is redorded during initial recording, in other cases, video recorded separately. Then all tracks pulled together through a DAW for production (by our drummer), and video produced after the audio production is complete. Hope that helps!
I do all the production work so if you had any questions, happy to help - but yea - not live :). I've heard of some bands doing that and there maybe special platforms for it, but haven't looked into it.

Takes picking hand away from bass to fix bass strap, yet still able to pick notes. Honestly, wouldn't be surprised if this was a bass backing track, or it was recorded separately and then the video shot over it... as the notes and picking speed on the screen don't match what is being played. That plus the lip synching... typical RU-vid cover.
