Roller Coaster + POV @ Metroland 

My love of rollercoasters came from this coaster! Honestly watching this made me cry - brings back so many good memories! It's such a shame they removed MetroLand.

I worked at Metroland for fifteen years and three people I used to work with have made contact with me after all these years just in time for Christmas Merry Christmas to all my friends and colleagues from Metroland great memories to treasure forever Love Walter Homma Consett Co Durham.

I cannot think of a roller coaster with a more original name than this one. Naming a roller coaster "Roller Coaster" is genius, who would have thought a roller coaster could have a better name than that of Fury 325, Intimidator 305, or Taron. One word: Brilliant.

I worked at Metroland for fifteen years.Yesterday my nurse who is treating me for my legs told me she saw a news item on the television this week about the MetroCentre and told me she heard that the MetroCentre are hoping to bring Metroland back if this is true That would be fantastic for us all I would love to see us return Metroland should have never closed in the first place Walter Homma Consett co Durham.

I’m sure there was dragons around in the cave or tunnel, also didn’t it used to stop at the top of the hill for a count down then a puff of smoke as it went to the hill?

It was walking distance from home to the metrocentre I wish it was still there cos my daughter would of loved it it beat Whitley bay and north Shields plus it was indoors great memories

The smell of bleach comes flooding back after watching this :)

Some memories there used to go here pretty much every weekend could visit for cheap and have a good day out

This will sound completely insane but does anyone else remember like these plastic pig heads on the lift hill sections. I don’t think you can see them in this video, if they were there at all, but I have a very vivid memory of being on this and getting scared shitless and I can’t tell if I just imagined the whole thing or there really were these pig decorations on this thing

This Billy was relocated to the big sheep in north Devon. That fact and crealy adventure park being home to SOOTY LAND AS IN SOOTY AND SWEEP are a few reasons we are good for theme parks in devon

Loved Metroland as a kid in the 2000’s, it’s a shame that it had to close down…
