Thank you for this! There isn't a roller derby league where I live, mainly due to lack of appropriate facilities. But I'm very interested in spectating online haha! You explained certain scenarios really well, so now I feel like I have a deeper understanding of the rules :)
Whoever takes the front, basically. Blockers can start anywhere between the jam and pivot lines, often they will be mixed up instead of purely in front or behind the other team but for simplicity I kept them separated. I'll explain jam starting positioning in a future vid!
