I'm looking at this exact pair. I want the Lightning 110s because 3 wheels look so cool- and the boot especially- but I think I need to embrace tradition and get the 80s
we need more uploads with you skating in these! this was awesome. I am starting this year in spring myself. I'll be skating for the first time in 16 years. My show size is a 15 so finding skates is tough. My only options are the RB XL's and these Lightning 80's. I'm going to be choosing this becuase it has a removeable liner and i heard a hard boot is more reliable to learn to skate in a skate park. NEW SUB!
Ty for the sub! These skates are really good and super comfortable. The removable liner and the metal buckles are my fav features. Keep me updated if you get them. I will be putting together another video soon
@@mindfulskating15 I actually purchased them :). Got the 14-14.5 on the way so hopefully since they are wide It’ll fit me. Is there anything I should be looking out for in comfort once I open the box? Just wondering what would be a clear sign it doesn’t fit over having to actually break them in. I’m happy to hear that the buckle is a fav feature. I really like that my first pair are going to be some modern skates that seem to be well done. I’m very excited for more videos of them to be released! More if your content is needed lol
I'm glad you got them. Let the skate journey begin! Only thing that bothered be a little bit was the forward flex they have. Break in time is really quick and they are surprisingly smooth and agile skates. These are the first in lines I've owned on 15 years. Enjoy them!
@@alz397 meaning the kudd of the skate isn't really right on the foot so you have a little bit of play. Flex is good for mobility but these skates take a little bit to get used to. The liner on these is so good
as a bigger due how are they? I am 43 at 280lb and was looking to get back into skating. I was thinking these or the RB 80(RB cruisers) when it comes out next month. i haven't skated since the 90's.
