The material inside is the same as the material in my tree planting boots..its top grade and very impressive to see it in a liner. Got to be better than intuition just by having that
Nice review guys, my take from ur nomad review is, if wizard skating then stick to intuition or myfit second skin liner as they both are stiff for the tricks required for wizard. Would you agree?
I tried anything and FR Intuition liners are the best so far. Thems are thicker, Premium and Skate feels too thin. I have the CJ liner, it's almost as good but doesn't isolate you from edges that well.
@@bladelab Thanks for the insight. I haven’t tried Them Intuition or Intuition V2. I liked the Premiums without the cuff and heel pad in Salomons. FR Intuition is really nice. The thickness of the Foryos and insole just work for my feet with intuition heel pad
@@veilaeququw5560 What colors? Only about 1-2 cm will stick above cuff, so all you will see is a black liner with tiny lime rectangle on top of tongue. A dealbreaker really...
intuition 3 years old in South Florida weather, no smell BUT I use boot driers and clean socks, EVERY SINGLE session...$20 on Amazon, worth it!!...plus who likes sweaty and funky liners anyways 🤣 Another well done vid guys🤘
Considering the number of people with pronated feet and flat feet, companies should really fix the issue of ankle pressure caused by hard boots and tough liners. Simply cutting a hole out of a hardboot (around the medial malleolus) and softening the liner material in the same area solves this issue. This should be a fundamental element in hard boot / liner design!
Bont carbon frame wedges and many repeated heat molding sessions got it tolerable for my quite pronated and very flat feet. I’ve considered cutting a hole in the boot, but I was concerned it would weaken the boot too much. Have you actually done this?
@clobbyhardy Yes, I cut the hardboot and it makes no material difference to the structure! I have been skating almost every other day since and have felt zero pressure on my ankle so highly recommend it!
The very combination I was looking forward to hearing about (Lightning 90 + Nomad). Appreciate this and would really appreciate follow up after skating in them a bit.
Been skating these for a couple weeks in my Blanks. Been mostly on intuition premiums for a couple years. Straight out the box the Nomads had zero break in time, super comfortable straight from the get go. Feels like they took the base of the intuition and made it better in my opinion.
I would really love to know exactly how many mm it adds to your feet in a boot. I bought a lightning size 40 and my foot sits perfectly without the liner, with about 4-5mm extra all sides. The stock liner crushes my feet. Would this help at all?
The Intuition liner is a super low volume liner which would probably help alleviate pressure on your foot. This Nomad liner may offer the same comfort.
@@diegobokserramirez6417 The "may" part is the problem, haha. A diagram showing the internal and external dimensions of the Nomad liner would be helpful!
Would love an update now you've had a chance to skate these How would it affect the fit of the twister? Ive read good things about the twister liner but would the nomad liner change the fit?
