"Three times world champion?" "Yeah, baby." "Like 12 years ago?" Something about this whole dynamic was hilarious. One of the world's best skaters shows up and you just keep throwing shade at him and damn near get him killed on the box. CJ's the best.
I will confirm that there is nothing better than mashing at a un-waxed gutter and locking in a shifty for breaking in your skates or frames. That can't just be an aussie thing though
First hack had me laughing. "You're CJ Wellsmore; you can do anything," and then he falls down. I really enjoyed the interactions in this video. Thanks for the info on clicky wheels. Mr. Wellsmore is one of the GOATs.
No hacks, just real engineering advice. Shim your wheel shoulder bolts too, avoid the clack sound. Assuming your bearing spacer length is correct for EACH wheel. More later if you wish, bed time now. G'day or G'night from Oz.
@@almostremembered if your wheel bearing spacers are indeed the same width as the wheel "shoulder" where the bearing outer race sits, then your wheel/bearing assembly is good with no side load applied, =happy bearings that spin nicely. Next is that each part of your frame will be a slightly different width, your shoulder bolts that secure the wheels bottom out when tensioned but may still have some free play. Allowing the wheel to move side to side on the shoulder bolt/axle, giving you movement/clack noise as wheel is not completely clamped. Ie the bolt is too long to properly clamp the fixture as intended. This will be different for each wheel and place in frame due too machining and casting tolerances, for shimming bolts you need to find which wheels still woble side to side when tightened up. Then shim under the head of bolt against outside of frame to remove play whilst still allowing bolt to bottom out/tighten properly.
I tried to make this easy to understand for the average bloke, but can't dumb it down too much or it would sound retarded. Nathan Chase it's like blue printing engines, fettle each part to work harmoniously with the rest. Hope that helped, oh I forgot, shims can be made of take away containers/ciggie filter bags, anything stiff enough to hold under compression force. As long as it's the right thickness.
I just had to pause the video at hack #4 to check if hack #3 works on Android phones and I can confirm it works on my dinosaur Pixel 3a! The travel tip by CJ using the buckles too is sick!
Im Aussie and ive always said CURBS and ROYALE, pretty sure everyone else I know does lol. Also say NOOGAN for a Farv. I thought that was an American thing.
Hey. I like this channel. There's a casual light-hearted nature to it that's really refreshing in contrast to the standard HEY GUYS YA BOI HERE WITH SO AND SO AND WE'RE GONNA BE TALKIN HACKS RIGHT AFTER WE TALK ABOUT DORKVPN SO STICK AROUND LETS GET RIGHT TO IT
Hey Kaylo - I’m interested to know: Do you find that your favourite RU-vid channel transcript their own subtitles or do you usually have to use the auto-subtitles?
@@LocoSkates To be fair, the auto CC doesn't do a great job with the accents in display. It is really hard to understand at times with the captions that are there currently. I also understand though that the price for writing a transcript isn't feasible for everyone. For example, pornstars ->top ones. Lull->love Alley oop soul->a true salt. That is what the auto captions are putting in.
I think when you film in the photo mode you loss the digital stabilization so the video is not cropped. But you still have the optical and mechanical stabilization.
