what a beautiful drive. driving in golden hour with the absolute best sky type in a 1998 supra man any car from the 90s in a sunset like that would be amazing
It’s like that on my bmw with bootmod3, so I’m guessing it’s just a common place to put it cause any one who cares about Antilag is definitely not using cruise control lol
@@Will-fs7oz i dont know if hes changed throttle body or intake plenum. but generally you lose cruise control when you goto an aftermarket ecu. you can make it work with a drive by wire throttle body. anyway, my point is, it probably lost cruise control with whatever upgrades it got, so why not use the stalk as antilag, its in a good spot
@@Dutch94Of course, you won't with that mindset. I started making a lot more money by recognizing opportunities when I stopped thinking like that. Change your mindset, buddy.
This right here is the positivity I needed thank you. I got 2 kids and a wife. Im right at 22 years old. Oldest is 5 youngest is 2. So needless to say my hands is full. But my kids love cars just as much as I do. My little boy just starting making spooling sounds coming down the hallway the other day. And ny little girl grins from ear to ear when she hears my straight piped pontiac aztek start up. *of all things, it's makes their world. My dreams used to be for me, but now more than anything I just want to see my kids dreams come true. So I will keep grinding and hopefully we can share this dream together.
One doesn't simply heatsoak the engine with a pull and then idle it. The high oil temp added to the low oil pressure that idling gives you is a recipe for wear. Just shift to 6th and let the fluids flow, exchanging heat, for godsake.
Most people here would have absolutely no idea what you're talking about - let alone the foresight. Most would think that putting it to idle would be the easiest on the engine. They don't teach this anywhere... especially not these days... and I bet the owner of this car wasn't even alive in 98' when they made cars you had to "drive"... vs cars these days that don't even show engine temps...
@@poppajack5332 Cos its America, manuals are less common. Im from the UK and i learned about engine braking from my dad driving me as a kid. I then learned why in driving lessons (safer, more controlled braking with less pad wear) And then learned even more reasons why when i googled how engines/oil pressure work lol
There was a loud Supra in my neighborhood. The bastard loved cold starting and revving it at like 6 in the morning. Someone filled the exhaust with expanding foam. There was also a panel gap large enough in the hood that someone emptied two more cans into it. It was towed and I haven’t seen it for two years lmao
You can tell its an american driver and he doesnt know what he's doing the moment he throws a car into neutral at high speed and pointlessly shakes the stick.
@@derbigpr500 100% was going to comment the same thing. American drivers also don't hold the steering with two hands in between shifting, too much brain power going on dealing the "stick shifter" 🤣
