So you made a movie or a short and you need to put in the credits? This is how you can do it in DaVinci Resolve while also have a custom style. I show examples of 3 end screen credit styles, how to add an image or logo to them and how to make the rolling animation.

Great tutorial, I had made a similar one too. The problem with vertically scrolling titles is that they feel fluid. I had seen a tutorial that explained how to scroll titles based on pixel size of characters, spaces and video resolution. Is there any quicker way to avoid "flickering"? Thank you

Hi @Franco Aversa Great question. I can't say I'm an expert on the roling credits topic but I did a test and I see what you mean. I then did more tests than I would have wanted and surprisingly even the official Resolve solution did not work for me. It could be that my eyes are just playing tricks on me or the video player that I'm using also has issues playing scrolling text. From the information that I've gathered it seems like we should be striving to make scrolling text pixel perfect, but no one has time for that. Anyway the official solution: you go to the transform node, and expand the last item in the inspector and check Auto resolution to get pixel values. Then to animate, use whole number (no decimals). Lower the text so it's out of screen, keyframe the Center Y value, on next frame keyframe the value to be1 to 3 pixels less on the Center Y axis (and then use set relative in the spline menu). You should get scrolling credits going from bottom to top with no problems, except I think I still see flickering/stuttering. I think the best result I got was when using the above approach and using only 1 pixel difference, this makes the credits really slow. To keep it as simple as possible, what I've done was to animate the transform as I have done it in this video, and under the Transform Settings I enabled Motion Blur with a value of 10 and Shutter Angle set to 360. This makes the animation smoother, at least that's the idea. Will you have any hickups with this method? You could have, but it will depend on how fast you make the credits roll.

Thank you very much! This is actually exactly what I needed. Is it possible to have alignment tabs horizontally? I am adding two languages and want English to be smaller in size and below the original texts. Would you mind to please explain? Thank you very much!

@sundari-lila-dd appologies for a late response. The tabs are only vertical, but having them horizontal could be a future feature. What yo can do as a workaround is to have two or multiple text nodes - depending on how you'll do the whole film credits and how many languages you ant to have. So the first text node would be for your main language, and the second would be for English. You'll have to use a merge node to combine the 2 text nodes, so you can see both languages at the same time which will allow for easier positioning.
