In this video, we're looking at my new 2024 truck filming rig. We're going inside and outside the truck to breakdown what camera, gimbal, batteries, mounts, power and more I'm using to up my truck filming game. Dude I've been looking into it for months and finally bit the bullet. I think I can make it even smoother too (and dial my camera settings in lol). The rig build and challenge of getting decent footage has been fun. Some folks using it are getting crazy cool footage! It'll be a great addition to roadtrips and build profiles.

We use the same setup. You guys need way more weight on the arm. The arm has got to drop to parallel when you let it go, and rise up to parallel when fully extended from the bottom. With how it is currently setup, it's just using the soft spring module to stabilize the image and not taking advantage of the arm at all. Just a suggestion cause we had the same issues. Hope this helps! ☺️

Hey, I just wanted to share a few recommendations I noticed. From the video, it seems like your arm/suspension setup isn’t positioned correctly-it should be horizontal. I’d suggest checking out some setup videos for guidance. You might also want to consider getting the GPS module and adaptor to help counter the lean during hard acceleration and deceleration.

What is your sons plan on his NBS? I have a 2001 single cab Silverado with a 4.3 V6. My cousin's husband in South Carolina has a totaled 2001 Tahoe with the 5.3. He has a towing company and has all kinds of stuff. I'm planning on buying it and replacing my 4.3. I want to do a 2/4 drop on it and new wheels.

Great setup but u gotta read the manual again. It takes times but once u set everything right you will get a better footage for real.

What you get is from the gimbal not the arm. Be sure to adjust the setting to custom. Lower the setting for highway and offroad or crazy you should increase after autotune. I have my dead end custom as well as tracking because i shoot solo tracking is my only assist. you will have to spend a lot of times to get to work right, not easy lol
