Yasss! Rolling Quartz, much like Dreamcatcher in its earlier days, is a major gem waiting to be discovered by the masses. Where DC was one of the pioneers of introducing rock to the kpop scene, RQ is pioneering the introduction of k-rock into the mainstream and I'm all for that! These two groups are just an amalgamation of talented artists (not to mention the lack of visual holes in either group lol)
You know, even if Dreamcatcher never have an official win, with bands like rolling quartz, pink fantasy, pity and dreamnote and to a certain extent even craxy, their influence will still be felt for years and years to come.

I love this cover, which emphasizes more on the instrumentals in the production as compared the OG production which focuses on the vocals. Check out their debut song, Blaze. They've actually been in the music scene for couple of years, 2 of them are from another group, and the other 3 were from other band. But now the 5 of them got together and combined their previous band names to Rolling Quartz

They put "self-bootleg" of live performances on their channel, so cool. The cover of Bad Romance may seem a bit strange, but it's a cover of a rock version cover by Halestorm. The comments are full of Insomnias, everyone wants a collab or joined tour, I hope DC will want this too one day!
The good night mv came with an album. So they actually have 7 songs plus Random out right now. The album has Holler, Delight, Rock n'Roll paradise, Good Night, Azalea and Higher on it.
Just to clarify, Random is also a collab; the song is officially by 015B, _with_ Rolling Quartz. They're a duo who don't have a regular vocalist, and instead always feature other artists. 🙂

They dropped “Azalea” MV a couple weeks ago. Check out their original debut MV Blaze. They also did an amazing cover of Kimarigoto by the JRock band Brats. Rolling Quartz is the sole reason I got into KRock, KPop and JRock. I owe those girls so much. I’ve been supporting them for over a year now. I recently got their logo tattooed on my arm. As well as a Dreamcatcher logo.
Hey, what a welcome surprise 😁 Yep Rolling Quartz are incredible and they're just getting started. Their first mini album came out just last week. Apparently the MV director for this video has worked with Dreamcatcher in the past, and RQ's drummer (Yeong Eun) used to be Dongie's drum teacher. 🤩
I don't know if this director has personally worked with Deukae; the link they're talking about in the description that the director of _DC's_ Good Night MV (Seong Wonmo) is the CEO of his own company (Digipedi), and the director of _RQ's_ Good Night MV works for that company... 🙂
@@KpopSaviReaction It seems so; Dongie has mentioned drumming in the past, though so far we've not actually seen her play. Until this dropped, however, we only knew that Yeong Eun was a huge InSomnia; we had no idea that she was also Dongie's drum tutor!
It's great to see all girl bands coming up out of both Japan and now Korea and not only being pretty, but KILLING IT. This version doesn't sound too terribly different from the original, but that's not a bad thing in the least. Rolling Quartz just made it more crunchy, and Jayoung has a low and powerful voice that sets them apart from a lot of other all girl bands (Asami from Lovebites has a low voice as well that really makes them sound distinct). This Insomniac really likes both versions of this song. If you liked this one, give Rolling Quartz's song "Azalea" a listen if you haven't already--I bet you'll like it even more.
Oh yeah!! So glad you have reacted to Rolling Quartz! They are a very talented rock band and do lots of awesome covers of rock classics. They also have some killer originals that they write and compose themselves. ~ Checkout BLAZE, RANDOM and HIGHER!! RQ has held about 4 live online concerts that I made sure to catch live. I'm both InSomnia and Diadem (RQ fan club) and seeing this cover sets me on fire. If no one else has said, Rolling Quartz has a few online concerts on RU-vid. I believe they actually did their first cover of this song in one of them.
They actually uploaded a 'live' version of Good Night before! Its been out like a year! But yeah i love their first title track Blaze, i couldnt get it here so i asked my friend in the US to buy an extra copy of the album and send it to me :D

Enjoyed the reaction, love Rolling Quartz! I'm an old rock guitarist. She can't play with long nails on her left hand. Some guitarist will grow long nails on the right hand though. She can have them nicely manicured and painted. Or another possibility is she might have fake nails just for the video shoot.
The popularity of Japanese all girl rock bands have been exploding recently. It's makes perfect sense for this to take off in South Korea as well. I wish them the best of luck.
I discovered them through their collaboration with Alexa and I love this band. Right now, I'm impatiently waiting for their debut album to hit my house. Rolling Quartz did a lot of Live Streams during the last year.
Yes, another group of Goddesses! They have great music, and did this cover before, but decided to make an MV. According to what I know with the help of Dreamcatcher's staff. Can't wait to see a collab between both groups, it will open the gates of Heaven!
In a post-pandemic environment where Dreamcatcher tours clubs and theaters again, or even manages to play some arenas, I would love to see Rolling Quartz open for them. I think a lot of Insomnias would really enjoy such an opening act and likely a lot of Diadem are Dreamcatcher fans as well and maybe both groups would make some converts.
Cool. My reactor bias checking out a rock band. I love Dreamcatcher and I love their rock songs best. The choreography they bring to rock music is killer, so full of energy and passion. Good Night has always been a favorite and it's awesome to see it covered by a girl rock band. DC's Japanese songs are also faves and there are a lot of cool girl rock bands in Japan. Even if you don't want to react to it, you should listen for yourself and see what you think. Definitely "a different vibe."
To be honest, I think their mixing still feels somewhat off for studio productions and they probably sound much better live. They've probably had more experience playing live gigs before COVID to begin with, especially if we include their time as Rolling Girls before they gathered the current lineup.
