'The sunshine bores the daylights out of me' Probably refers to recording this song and the subsequent album in the south of France.

Hubby nailed it on the groove and what the song is about. In 72 when they did it, they were virtually kings of the world with incredible albums, non stop sell out tours and setting the rock n roll style and swagger. CeCe, first Stones song? Yikes. You need more. Gimmie Shelter, Monkey Man, Brown Sugar, etc

The Greatest Rock & Roll Band Ever. This album is now 51 years old wow. I was lucky I got see them three times first time in Buffalo NY in 1981 as 14 yr old and ending when I was 50.

they were on speedballs when they made the song so it very much is about drugs and how all the materialistic stuff they once found fun and got their rocks off too just doesn’t do it for them anymore

Great reaction, I have loved the stones since I was about 7 /8 years old, his Bo Diddley days, early 60's, this song is one of my least favourites, but I had never seen this video before , which was great to see, so thanks for that. :-)

"What was that?". Your question about the cars is cool. I'm a car guy. On the left side of the road, it's a Jeep Wagoneer followed by a '65-'68 Chevrolet Impala. No idea about the right side of the road. Edit: I think the car that is having the glass vigorously buffed is an Oldsmobile Toronado. Pre-' 70 in my estimation. Fun fact about the Olds Toranado - starting in the '66 model year, it was the 1st domestic front-wheel drive production vehicle. Too much? Don't get me started.

@@CC2Cents_ not a problem at all!! I'm an American car junkie!! The 2nd time glass buffing guy comes out near the end, I see a '70 Super Sport go through the light just beyond the frame. At least it looks like an SS, it has the stripes anyway (definitely a' 70). Nasty Chevelle regardless of the motor as far as power goes (in a straight line).

Upon review, at the end of the video, I saw a Ford Galaxie, a couple Buicks, a Dodge, a '71 rolling inferno (Pinto) and a Chevy station wagon. I've never seen this video before as I'm an old bastard that usually only hears the music he loves. Seeing this, I had to check it out. Thanks for the honest look into the music I heard on the AM in my pop's '71 Chevelle (AM stereo, for what that's worth) in my childhood. My dad was a Vietnam Vet and not into the Stones but he knew I liked it at 7. He died a few years back from falling and hitting his head on the left side - he couldn't catch himself, he lost his balance and fell towards the side he lost his arm above the elbow and his leg above the knee. My brother and I now own the car he ordered new from the dealership but I'd trade it for a day with him. He made damn sure we knew what model car we were looking at what it took to make it go faster. It's a blessing and a curse in a way but I wouldn't change a - to quote pop - Goddamn thing.

Was never into the stones and can’t actually remember this 1 but my dad ( 87 ) still loves the stones he will put a cd on and he will get up sing and dance ....well move his hands haha but there is 1 from them that I really like that’s ‘ paint it black ‘ it’s amazing play it with official lyric video cause the vid is well made as well love the tune so much I actually like a cover version by Marie LaForet singing it in French brilliant as well great reaction 👍👍
