They so sucessfully bridged the ocean, and alerted us to the the wealth of music we had in our country. Unbelievably indispensable to uncovering America's musical history. Thanks!

This is not an ' Out of Heads ' outtake , it was recorded at Chess Studios in Chicago and was a song that James Brown had previously recorded in 1959. The Stone's version is from May, 10th, 1965.

Damn, I thought I knew the Stones outtakes up and down-never heard this near-stunner. How in the hell DIDN’T this end up on the album? There were plenty of clinkers on the US version, and maybe this was a little too close to Cry to Me...but it’s a sweet one!

This is an awesome recording. At first I didn’t think Brian was on this but he’s playing arpeggio rhythm guitar. Keith on lead. Stu is on the keys. Wonder who is playing the organ? Maybe Stu overdubbing. At Chess they had multiple tracks to record on. This should have been included on an album.

Not terribly brilliant, but nevertheless this recording makes us understand how long the Stones have been around for. They will probably be around when the covid emergency has lost intensity...

Wow, a James Brown cover. Stones rarity, though Mick not quite up to it. His Solomon Burke and Otis covers on the album were better.

He wasn’t brave and confident to as McCartney says to sing out the top of his head! Self conscious singing . Few years later he could of sang this

nice outtake but I can see how it doesn't fit with this album. I can some what see it on Hitmakers or 12x5... it's just to 50s bop like. nice nonetheless
