The Rolls-Royce Droptail La Rose Noire is the first roadster from the ultra-luxury brand in the modern era. Inspired by the Black Baccara rose, the car is finished in a two-tone color scheme of pomegranate and black. The exterior features a dramatic negative body line and a "dropping" rear. The interior is trimmed in black leather and features an integrated timepiece by Audemars Piguet.

Over two years of hand stitching interior alone exceeds least a million dollars, hand painting rose petals on back panel alone took months again least 500k It's not a car it's Rolls Royce's craftsmanship at finest

Not one for cars myself, mostly just using this car to take notes for a design for another thing I'm drawing I can see it's not really a practical piece of engineering as most cars are, it's more a piece of commissioned art that happens to be a car If it wasn't, then the client would've likely just bought a standard luxury car As a normal human being, yeah I don't see the sense in the price point, but if I was sitting on more money that I'd know what to do with, well, I'd probably donate to charity first but getting an art piece commissioned would likely also be up there in things I'd like to do

gosh... pls stop asking opinion from bmw head of design. the rolls royce wraith was perfect for younger customer base. we've got too many wild design line work car on the market already. even the young rich money wanted to have opulence and distinction, not some sporty design car - they will choose ferrari for that. no doubt of ur quality. but pls stick to ur core value. u r the rolls royce. u dont need to follow the crowd. the crowd would follows u. and lastly stop those shitty random red triangle stuff as modern interpretation of rose abstract bullshit and those lline works. its horrendous.

alex innes , you can see he is not italian , so design is not perfect and is not reflecting the image of rolls royce , he is giving he car a cheap aspect , no wood dashboard etc , roof is not beautiful , is typical design of a german , no taste at all, front very cheap aspect , looks like the scoda
