People underestimate how much Rolls-Royce has contributed to automotive tech. They are the best when it comes to working on engines.

I was in 4th grade when I visited Malaysia for a vacation and saw the Rolls-Royce silver shadow and I touched it take few pic with that car and I fall in love with it , it was love as first sight, as I returned back to my home many years pass by I got in high school and one day way back to home I saw a Rolls-Royce on road and I followed it and finally I found a very rich man house were the Rolls-Royce is there so now I use to miss my school and tuition so that I can wait for hours, and hours just to see that car once, now we moved to other places and its a lower middle class community so I cant see my dream car and on my 23rd birthday my brother gave me a hand made drawing of Rolls-Royce and that's the inspiration I kept in my room so as I wake up every morning I see it and I get a energy to work hard and fulfill my goals to achieve my dream car its not just a car its my first love.

I love it that they are going to test them in plain sight. No competition, no need to hide.

That is one aspect of the Rolls Royce Spectre: Electrification.

That's great and I think with maturing electrification tech and after development of BMW IX SUV and with their assistance, RR decided to develop to their own electric car. Rolls-Royce cars are always know for the sheer silence, I am wondering how much silent that electric car will be?. Looking forward.

It’s kinda sad to see other manufacturers have to resort to hybrid and electric power trains but with rolls Royce it actually makes a ton of sense.

This is a very exciting announcement. Rolls Royce cars lend themselves to electric power more than most other brands. I recently sold a customer a slightly used phantom convertible. Had a chance to drive it for a while and it was incredibly impressive. All the while I was thinking about how fantastic it would be to have the instant torque Of an electric drivetrain. The car was not lacking in torque or power in any way but the mileage was a little bit scary. With electrification you can power a very heavy car economically.

rolls is one of the only car companies that i’m okay with going electric, the engine was never really a selling point for the car. rolls owners want a smooth quiet luxurious ride and an ev can do that very well

An excellent teaser presentation. It hyped up the audience without revealing much. It does seem a risky radical departure to promise to discontinue all their current models by the end of the decade, but it shows their confidence in their unreleased electric vehicle technology. Given the current state of battery technology and public charging infrastructure, I still prefer a range extender ICE in my electric vehicles, as a seldom-used backup to eliminate range anxiety. But that does complicate the engineering, with consistent performance more difficult. I'm confident that this luxury vehicle will offer generous all-electric range and a consistent driving experience.
