The Rolls-Royce history is full of phantoms, ghosts, spirits and wraiths. Compared to the Phantom Wraith and Ghost are much more modern, but they still have in them, what makes a Rolls-Royce unique. Rolls-Royce Wraith is a coupe based on the Ghost. Both cars are built on the BMW 7 Series platform. Despite being over 5 metres long, and almost two metres wide, Rolls-Royce Wraith is not as difficult to maneuver, as you may think. You have specify the car with many modern options, like a 360 degree camera. This may come in handy more than once.

Bespoke. I'd like a coffee brewing machine that adds sugar and heavy cream automatically, and the infotainment system needs to have a program that looks like a real fireplace burning.

Hey Marek! That's some car. Usually you have a small adverse comment, bit sarcastic, which I like. Not with this one though - just that brakes could be stronger. (Pretty important at 200kph!) Good you did not dress up to much for the RR experience.

+Stan Rosenthal I didn't want to look like my own chauffeur ;) There really isn't much bad to say about a Rolls-Royce. I supposed the Ghost is a bit of a poor-man's Roller, but Wraith being a coupe makes up for that.

Hi Marek, I am going to be needing a 2nd car soon for the wife to drive (I have a company diesel Passat as my main). It needs to be a manual petrol. Budget 6-8k Euros (live in Southern Germany). Thinking a used Swift Sport, Auris, Mazda 2 (basically anything Japanese without a turbo = bulletproof). Any other suggestions or recommendations ? I aim to keep it in the small/ compact segment as one large car in the household is enough. Thank you in advance

+Gunzberg Swift is the smallest of the bunch, and Sport is great fun to drive. Unfortunately buying one second hand is risky, because it may have been driven by... an enthusiast ;) Auris is boring, predictable, reliable. Previous generation Mazda2 is bland. If you can find a good Swift Sport, go for it. It will be great for the weekends as well.

Found a Swift Sport for about 7k, considering it will have been driven hard and looking at the parts most heavily replaced, I would have to take off new brakes and clutch off the seller's price to get a fair deal. Thanks for the response, was leaning towards the Swift Sport already

I'm sure, from engineering and construction perspectives, that their cars are much better now than they used to be; but, the elegance has been completely lost. They are simply ugly. The interior is ostentatious and garish, the very antithesis of what RR should be...and used to be.
