In this video we take a look at the 20 inch Professional Cylinder Lawn Mower Instead of talking about all its pro's and con's. we talk about who a lawn mower like this is suitable for... Hope you enjoybthe video cheers
Great video. I live in USA and purchased the 17” Professional mower from a gentleman who moved from South Africa. No Manuel included. Any chance you can give me some maintenance tips. Not quite sure how to properly sharpen the blades. Video on that would be great.
Great vid as always. That KB lawn stripes like a dream. What is your opinion on the KK lawn? Agree that the 20" 9 blade is the way to go. Eendag as my skip inkom kry ek ook een!
The Rolux is available very soon in the US but is offered with a Briggs and Stratton XR550. I have a Honda engine on my CT however I am not sure if the B&S is as reliable. Thoughts??
How would you compare this mower to the Toro Greensmaster? I currently have a Jacobsen Greens mower but really like the HOC/reel roller and ease of adjustment on the Rolux. Thanks and great video!
Nice review dude. And can agree on all your likes (and few dislikes). I also have the 20 inch (2019 model), perfect for my smaller (than your) lawn. Motor is running quietly although I have the Honda GP 160 (not sure what the difference is from your GX - newer model perhaps?) Will keep following and can't wait for the next one! Cheers from Pretoria 🍻
I have 2 acres of property. I have a hustler fas trak 54 inch zero turn mower. No way would I push or walk behind a mower. But that is a good cut. My mower has a 22 hp Kawasaki. Two 4.25 gallon fuel tanks. I can cut down 3 feet tall grass.
Greetings sir, Incase i need to start gerdan lawn care services business, Which types of lawnmower machines should I start with? Is it necessary to start with professional cylinder and ride on lawnmower?
I am not sure why that would happen to be honnest. I would send it to a mower shop and have it checked to see if they could free them from each other. Otherwise post your question on Lawn care nuts south africa facebook page. Mabe someone has delt with something similar before.
Striperman, Lara puts a smile on your dial with her bubbly personality. We watched lots of Netflix and I wasn’t allowed to do anything that might hurt my arm , strict instructions from Lara. 😎
I am about to purchase one of these and I cant decide between 17" and 20" - I have 320m2 of Couch Lawn. Do you think the 20" is better for the extra dollars?
Look 320 is a big area. So 20" would be great. However. Its a very heavy machine. So just have a look at how even your area is. If its fairly flat, then maybe a 20" would be great. The 17 is more nimble and maneuverable. But on a flat area the 20 sits beautifully solid on the turf.
Looks like a very solid piece of kit! Great mower and your lawn is looking mint. The Professional looks very similar to the Protea SI mowers. Interesting to note, Protea SI mowers are based on the old Scott Bonnar 45 machine which was produced locally in Australia for decades. The Aussie made mowers where exported to South Africa for years, until they sold up to Protea. Now Protea export the same mower back to Australia. Now that's the Aussie way. Bloody trade union's and crazy left wing governments have screwed manufacturing in our country.
The Professional was first built in South Africa in 1965 and was based on the old Suffolk mower and others. We are currently in the process of sending stock to Australia so watch out for it.
