Great effort. Loved the video. One thing I liked very much about the video is the lack of any music at all. Vlogers just ruin it with unnecessary noise in the background. You're doing a great job. Keep it up.

You can find a lot of architectural reconstructions of the villa on the internet, and the interesting thing is that they all show it to be very tall, 4-5 stories high.

17:20 This smaler rooms in Tiberius'es quarters could have been a lower level of accomandations for family members as Caligula, Drusilla and their mom, but also rooms for guests visiting him and bringing him news from Rome and for poets, artists that entertained him and perhaps eaven for his guard. As the slave accomandations are quite big, Tiberius must have had tons of slaves there. And as he was completley paranoid and always fearing for his life, he would have had the full pretorian-guard (his private army) staying with him very close, to protect his life 24/7 and to keep control of all the slaves and people in the palace as he might feared a raise among them. Probably there must have been an upper floor with his private and way bigger rooms and also a big dining area. Private rooms that overlooked the full sea would have fitted for an roman Emperor.

Noticed 2 setter dogs jumping around. . . recently reminded of St. Francis who lived in an area of Italy with Celtic past. Celts were very nature minded culture. St. Francis used to help animals by getting on their level and communicating with them, "horse whisperer" imo. The second king of Rome who was mostly Sabine, started a spring festival on April 25th. To save each future wheat crop from red wheat rust they would kill a nursing red coated dog. Rome's emblem is a nursing she wolf. Imo it was to hide their natural notice of the change in the land. Happens from wars sucking life out of the earth, and ignore it by doing a pretend healthy air with a festival dedicated to war. Lurking doubt quieted on war- that sends those that died and do get judged- back into the air without being healed. For many, evil spirits lurk in winter, sign of death and have to be swept out to accept missing heaven and being conquered with huge sign (of that faith) comes in by new growing season (reminder of calling of heaven after death). When Roman Empire became Christian a few years later they had a problem in a town. Pontious Pilate supposed to have retired to it called Vienne France. They had the spirit of killing as normal routine to make crops grow by dedicating them to war. In the Roman Empire there were also influences with leaders of Viking heritage who believed in battle was way to heaven. So without being peace minded to be horse whisperer and imo the people not very into healing, there was a lot of unneeded animal sacrifice. I see it causing wild animals to take over when they stopped the puppy sacrifice and turned to Christianity. So had work to do connecting with nature again, because the mystic connection between animals and people caused same quick mortal killing attitude. There was a plague of wolves in Vienne , people killed in the streets. It was stopped by a saint who is celebrated May 15, considered one of the ice saints. He instituted a blessing of the crops on April 25th. Noticing the dogs playing and having dogs die from sick things from riots in the US in 2015, amazing the importance to be horse whisperer. Now know kidney drops could have helped. But learned not knowing how mass killings sucks out life is very important the need for power herbs and taking it easy. Animal cruelty is a way to cover up for vengeful killing to keep food as war does. Old story but helpful when urged by those things in the air to go too fast without having empathy. Don't suck your own life out or be an example to small things to do the same.

I visited this Tiberius's Palace in May 2003 travelling all the way from Japan just wishing to see the same scenery as the Emperor did 2000 years ago. It was still very much a ruin and there was no admission fee at that time. It was the White House of the 1st century from which the Emperor ruled the half of the known world in his last 10 years or so, and I believe this site deserves more attention.

Excellent post! Your camera became my eyes so that my brain could attempt to process the details, stories, etc of this experience. What a terrifying place it must have been for those slaves!

Yeah, basically the path I walk to get there is the only way there. It would have a been a long way to go to build a massive villa. I am not sure where they got all the building material. I'm glad you enjoyed the tour. I might go back there again this summer.

@@ProWalks Well I'm sure that your viewers would appreciate some insight into how ancient Romans ships berthed on Capri and passengers alighted. Is there a beach, a dock, a wharf? Also some vision from the access pathway would be most interesting - does it have steep sides? (I imagine so, with no guard rails!) No doubt the Emperor and other VIPs would have been carried up (& down) this steep incline. The construction process of the Villa was incredible and very dangerous, would be fascinated to hear of any such detail.. Best wishes from an interested Australian

On the left side of the aerial view is a walkway to the cliffs that shouldn't be missed if it is open. I'm not sure if many were thrown off the cliffs but there were other depravities recorded, some of which are thought to turn Caligula into a psychopath who as a boy visited Tiberius there.

Surely people occupied the residence after Trajan. What we are seeing could reflect centuries of alterations and added constructions on top of Trajan's original palace. This place wasn't buried like Pompeii, after all, but stayed a beautiful estate for centuries after Trajan. The Normans could have lived in it during the Crusades.

Romans may have existed, but not the way we were told. We inherited this place as we were never able to build those amazing buildings... we see men on horses and buggy carts, holding shovels in their hands, living in mud huts... and all the sudden, we were told they have built everything in the 1700-1800... that's a blatant lie. There were past resets of civilizations, the last one around 1800... that, of course, if our timeline is correct, as they have been reading the "i" preceding numbers in coins and documents as 1, adding 1.000 years to the date. It's not our history, but HIS-story, the controllers story. The firmament has also been the same for centuries... not a single deviation between stars... and that's for the ones thinking we are spinning through space. There is no space. That's why 99% of our communication goes by underwater cables and land towers. No satellites because there is no orbit. To know where we live is a good start. Have fun researching.
