To have a proper sidewalk, those open gutters must be dug deeper and closed so people can walk on it. Most developed countries , you don't even notice gutters because people walk on it.

Looks like any part of Ghana except the road has asphalt. NO PAVEMENTS/SIDEWALK. Ghana is allergic to pedestrianised routes

It's a carefully planned community with fire prevention systems for fire fighting. And almost every building has its own fire prevention systems too installed being Fire Alarm Systems or Fire Suppression Systems

@Towndrive1 Sorry I'm not saying that it has not been carefully planned, Even the ones that are planned when it caught fire 🔥 it takes a while to bring the fire down. Even in a developed country it takes a while to bring it fire 🔥 down. The developing countries have all the equipment but then when it happens it's takes time to bring it down, The reason why I'm saying this I have witness a fire engine 🚒 that hasn't have water in the tank

Most "Americans" don't live in Roman Ridge, Ghana....Most Americans live in the small towns and villages in Ghana...Only a very, very minute number of United States citizens live in Roman Ridge. Most of them are diplomats.

Nobody is preventing anybody from living there if only you can afford the cost of the properties. The wealthy locals also live there. The majority of the residents are locals.
