I don't think ADMIRALITY/MARITIME LAW should be in the USA. Search Gold fringes around the American flag. That is law of the WATER. The QUEENS rule. We are suppose to be using COMMON LAW in COMMON LAW COURTS with our BILL OF RIGHTS as protection for Sovereign NATIONALS. The CONstitution is a FRAUD. It is a Freemason fraud so decades later we find ourselves in their END GAME using a plandemic to do it.

So she was able to sell his house? No telling how much of his money she has squirreled away. She did get away with this for far too long--being the center of attention and having everyone’s sympathy at the funeral and vigils for Dan was likely right up her alley. I’m so sorry for Dan’s mother.

I've followed true crime for more years than I want to admit. This testimony has upset me beyond any other. What a wonderful, talented man that was killed, for no reason other than greed. Hearing about his personality and sense of humor is somebody I would have loved to have mingled with. What a travesty to have him shot in the back while he was working hard. This murder destroyed many lives. It was so obvious in the first few days of testimony. Even the woman police officer seemed to be having a hard time as she remembered. She was very professional, but you could tell she was pained. Nancy was zooming in on her with those empty-stare-y eyes. Then there were the students who found the body....The son, the grandchild, the LOVELY Brophy parents. She destroyed all of them. And I'll bet some of these witnesses (and maybe jury members, too) are traumatized from their court appearances. And then there's law enforcement. They were clearly on a mission, and this was not a murderess they expected (Merrill said how shocked he was when they saw her van on video).

Seriously though. If Nancy was more concerned that Dan's life insurance policy didn't miss a payment at the expense of missing the mortgage payments, she was determined to be widowed & wealthy. And I'd be curious to know what caused/happened w/the house fire that occurred. Nancy briefly mentioned having reno's done to their home as a result of a fire. I wouldn't put it past her if she committed arson too. Poor Dan worked two jobs to keep her happy and I'm sure the only happiness he had at home was his chickens & his dogs. I'm glad his animals were so loved by him. I'm sure they must have just loved to see Dan rise at the crack of dawn to tend to their needs. What a beautiful soul. RIP Daniel Brophy.❤🌹

This to me is a perfect example in my opinion that the defense knows their client is guilty but they are doing everything possible to get her off by a technicality . This to me is not total justice . Meaning you can commit the same offense in another jurisdiction and if policing isn’t handled properly the defendant can be set free . This to me is way over most peoples head and not true justice . I’m waiting for Ms Maxfield to grab the kitchen sink from the lady’s room and throw it at the next state witness. She is very argumentative and nasty. She speaks to any / all witness’ the state brings to the stand in a VERY condescending way. I don’t like her . Her attitude does not help her client .

Wow. The defense ladies --- but I am not a biologist --- seem to be learning on the job, i.e., do not seem to have a theory or strategy, but only tactics. Their tactics seem to be to probe for ways to portray prosecution witnesses as biased when doing their jobs and to portray Ms Brophy as the true, saintly innocent victim of her alleged criminal conduct, i.e., the death of her husband. Sleuth - it's because, on first glance, the entire courtroom for a high-profile murder trial of a Chef in Portland is about 200 sqft. The incriminating witnesses are about 10 feet from the alleged murderer. Can't put the prosecution there, only the defense? That would be weird. We want to intimidate witnesses. The screen on the back wall of witnesses to stand up, or turn their heads backwards is more than awkward, but I guess they also ran out of space. None of the attorney's stand, or go to a podium to do their pitch, putting some prudence into the room. It's an embarrassing courtroom, not to mention the masks. But, I'm from Portland. So, it all just stands out as being a bit of a joke.
@tourdedogue4952
@tourdedogue4952 2 года назад
Not to dig it in more but Portland is a hub of high tech. Intel started there and so on. And, this is the best sound/video quality they could come up with?? I think Daniel Brophy deserves better.
@sleuththewild

Snark. I really think Crampton Brophy's hair is better for being in prison than being done by her Portland stylist. It looks awful in her mug shot before she went to prison. Spending money for routine hair styling is kinda incompatible with not being able to afford your mortgage. Usually, if folks can't afford the mortgage, they would get a friend to cut it or let it grow out.

Here's what I think. In jail, you can't have hearing aids. So, there's a little box you carry around (it's right in front of Nancy) that has a microphone on the outside of it. It picks up sound.Then, you use a standard headset to connect to that little box. Dan's father, Jack, was outfitted with one of these when he had trouble hearing on the witness stand. It worked like a charm. I got one for my father. This is how I know. Basic tech, but VERY effectve.
