Excluding final fantasy’s or dragon quest’s secret bosses (and many other RPGs), this is the most difficult RPG boss I have encountered so far. (With more than enough preparation along that almost every tech was collected, I couldn’t beat it for the first time which is unusual provided the magnitude of preparation)
@@armnakornthab6867 even with really busted stats I feel like you really need to get a bit lucky that he doesnt spam too many abyssal winds because healing is so inefficient
This game was pretty awesome. I really do hope Square Enix continues the SaGa type games in the future. But it seems like instead of continuing the SaGa type games. It looks like they have transferred that style and are continuing it with Octopath Traveler.

Thanks for this playthrough. I played the game but put it down about 4 months, I got up to the Huang Diversion, but completely forgot the different techs and strategies. I just wanted to see the ending, but hard to rationalize another 5-10 hours of grinding and relearning. Just put the last 3 videos on 1.5x speed and now I can get get to Scarlet Grace instead
