For those who don't understand Romanian, the article said that he was the only survivor. And the second page of the article said "Our hero pays his last respects to his fallen comrades who died on duty".
Yes you are right. They only gave him respect when they found out he was a veteran but they should have given him respect anyway even before they found that out
I think no war is great because ever war only bring pain and death nothing more or nothing less just sorrow that why there no great war because wars can not be great and should not be great.
If only our youth were taught HISTORY in schools..Then they might understand words like honor, respect, sacrifice, brotherhood. But without history and the stories of honor, sacrifice and respect they grow in a void... It is OUR DUTY to bring NATIONAL history back to every country. For people without knowledge of their own history, are bound to repeat the worst history of all....war and enslavement !!!
Respect is earned thru actions. Just because someone is old doesn't mean they automatically should get your respect. That man fought for his country so he deserves it.
Yeah it touched me because he was the last one to live from among those people he's respecting those soldiers that lost their life in the battle, I cried when he fell after the kid came right into him, and then they respect him at the end. Heres the lesson always respect, don't hurt, and don't cause, just be a better person and become the way you are.
@@d0426m Ruzzians as always claim that every country veterans were allied with nazis and only ruzzians in USSR were fighting against germans and their allies XD so delusional clowns
The day i graduated highschool my dad went to shake my hand. My buddies came over and as a sign of respect we stood at attention and saluted him. Sadly he would pass from lung cancer before I left for college
Not only was the young man sympathetic, but he was also able to convince his peers to do the same. His friend pushed him just for shits and giggles, but when it’s time for realness, they’ll deliver. Unfortunately this seems like a movie or some kind of production. It would be extremely rare for something like this to happen in real life. Our vets don’t get enough respect
Especially bcz nobody talks about this but Romania is in like the top 10 or 15 or something with most deaths in ww2, the ppl who lived went through communism until recently when Romania is finally free again🙏🫡
I think we all know what it means to be a soldier, love for country, fellow countrymen and self sacrifice. No matter where we come from no matter what political position we favour 🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡 the respect should be given regardless.
Let me tell you one thing. The things, the violence, the absolute most gruesome horrors soldiers see in war, believe me when I say that God is NOT anywhere to be found on the battlefield. The only thing you have once you enter the horrors of war is your slowly decreasing sanity and maybe the leg of your brother in arms that wasn’t blown away by a frag. People tend to think that the war is Call of Duty. But the war is a nightmare. It’s the embodiment of instinctive fear and primal terror. And to add insult to the injury, God is often one of the main reasons why good men sacrifice a life with their wife and potentially children to go serve a country that mistreats a lot of its now PTSD-ridden war heroes.
Remember how important those people are who defended our homeland many years ago. After all, what would have happened if they had not done this? We appreciate your service 🫡
The most despicable are those who oppress those weaker than themselves. Like bro you wouldn't even stand a chance against those your age . That's why these oppressors move on to the old , kids and women. How cowardly
Saludos. 🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷
I'm an Indian but I know that every soldier 🪖 owns the respect because of their sufferings we can sleep well in night and stay safe but risk their life 🙏🏻 in every moment on the border.
