Σωστά, μπορεί τώρα να έχουν αποκυρήξει το παρελθόν τους οι κατά τα άλλα συμπαθείς Βούλγαροι, αλλά στις αρχές του αιώνα έκαναν βαρβαρότητες οι κομιτατζήδες στη βόρεια Ελλάδα.

Because others have no war threats around and prefer to spend on social welfare,. Otherwise, make no mistake that Romania can afford to spend a lot more than Greece and also to borrow 100s of billions, to finance any war, which Greece cannot, having 3-4 times more foreign debt, and making 100 billion less income a year, than Romania.

Don't worry, the information presented are outdated. Romania has more fighters as well. 50 F16 and 32 F35 and 50 more m1a2 sep3 with 250 more to come in the future and has 2 submarines as well. And the active personel is over 100.000 in Romania(don't know the exact number)

The information given is outdated: Greece operates 154 F-16s (82 F-16 Block-52, 38 Block-50, 34 Block-30), 24 Rafale F3R, 24 Mirage 2000-5 Mark II, 33 F-4E (to be retired next year) and 20 (+20) F-35 on order. A total of 220+ fighting aircrafts. From the 154 F-16, the upgrade to Block 70 already started (currently 20 received) for a total of 121 F-16V Block 70 until 2027. But since you mesh with other type of weapon systems, let us have some Greek Navy submarine facts too: 4 state of the art Type 214, 9 T209/1100, T209/1200 and one T209/1500 (AIP). That is a total of 13 submarines. Now for...tanks... 170 Leopard 2A6, 183 Leopard 2A4, 520 Leopard 1A5, a total of 872. And of course around 500 old (but highly operative, maintained) reserved including M48A5 MOLF, Μ60Α3 TTS.

Do not argue my Balkan friends. No need to. Military might or numbers is not the issue. Today is Greece, in the past was Bulgaria by far, Romania will be most likely in the future. So what... The world is really divided not by nations-thats what they want- but by rich and poor and good and evil. These peoples are in every country and every nation. They have planted the seed of nationalism and they have us fighting each other like cats and dogs. Dont fall in to that anymore. Η Ελλάδα, ανάλογα με το μέγεθος της, τον πληθυσμό της και το ΑΕΠ της, έχει τον πιο δυνατό στρατό παγκοσμίως. Εάν είχαμε καλύτερη οικονομία (ΑΕΠ) και πυρηνικά, θα ήταν μέσα στις 10 θέσεις παγκοσμίως και μέσα στις 5 στην Ευρώπη, έστω και με την έκταση και τον πληθυσμό που έχει. Just watched the video and would like to add a comment: Of course Greece does not want to attack any other country, always welcoming millions of tourists and neighbours, but regarding the power of economy, Greece should have been multiple times stronger - more wealthy because of the insanely rich ship-owners and the MASSIVE amounts of untaxed income of millions of people. Greeks have invented any imaginable way to avoid paying taxes, thus the economy is much much weaker than it should be in reality. There is no threat for Romania like for Greece, so doesn't matter what Romania got today, but what can get in case there is a threat of war. And Romania can afford to weaponize a lot more than Greece, having 3-4 times less foreign debt, 100 bill a year more income, more financial reserves and resources than Greece.

Pentru cine nu cunoste, cautati haplogrupuri ADN si veti vedea ca romanii si bulgarii au aproape acelasi sange, ei sunt traci ca si noi, au sange turc ca si noi(cumanii!), au sange slav ca si noi etc. Singura deosebire este limba, daca slavii se opreau pe ambele maluri ale Dunarii astazi vorbeam si noi o limba slava(ma refer la romani).

You cant compare that when Greece spends a lot more than other Balkan countries, to keep up with Turkey, while Romania and Bulgaria have no war threats. Have you considered that Romania can immediately budget a 100-200 billion military spending, whenever necessary? By GDP income, reserves and foreign debt Romania stands a lot better than Greece and can afford to spend more than both countries combined, to get whatever needed for a winning war. Not only that got 3-4 times less foreign debt than Greece but also makes a 100 billion more a year, in terms of income and got more financial reserves than Greece. With a 55% foreign debt Romania can afford to borrow 100s of billions for weapons, which Greece, having the highest debt ratio in Europe cannot. So when analyzing war capacity you also have to consider in depth financial aspects of each country, not only what they got today. Even with what Greece got today won't be able to break into Romania and in a few months would turn into a disaster for any invader, not only one armed like Greece.

Romania also considers that has only friends in the Balkans but I've seen here some antagonizing the lack of military investments of Romania in the past and I felt like telling few economical aspects. Also the fact that Romania has a 55% foreign debt compared to Greece's 3 times or more, that is also very important the the national reserves.

Romania have no declared enemies or direct threats but since now there is a potential escalation of Ukraine war Romanian military budget also "tripled" from last year's 8-9 billion, mentioned here, towards 30 billion already. The shopping spree just started but many important things will be produced under license in Romania.

Until joining NATO, Bulgaria has the strongest army - just fact check. After that the alliances made Bulgarians careless about their security, which is a bit naive. Still we are friendly nations and geographically surrounded by NATO, which is not the case with Greece and Turkey, and by my opinion should be better equipped.
