A weekend festival of Romanian folklife, including wood work exhibits, dance, music and wine tasting, was held at the DC Wharf on July 8 - 9, 2023. There was plenty of energetic musicianship and dancing, despite the 90's (F) heat and high humidity. Beautiful costumes, high kicks and boot slapping, twirling and hats of many kinds. Plus two singers in fine voice. If you can't make it to Romania, check it out!
