Watkins is an ok striker but not elite,something that Spurs need! Izak,Almo,Dusan Vlahovic, Toney etc. Osimhen is too overprized in my opinion, over 110 million! I dont want olmo, would rather have Alex Baena, Xavi Simons, Sudakov or even Gibbs White for the central 10, and would rather have a goalscoring wide option like Matias Soule AND Olise out wide right. Soule on a free is a no brainer but at 60m I would also sign Olise, regardless of his injuries because when he's fit, he's world class and will only get better.

As highly as I regard both Maddison and Richarlson it is apparent they both require competition at their position. Frustrating because our budget should be used in other areas of weakness. For me, the teams best path forward is through the youth movement of talent with the mentality to play for the badge, not the paycheck. Give me more Udoggie Sarr, Vdv and Vicario;s, Ill pin my hope that Bergvell will be the next revelation and I hope Paratachi will sift through Europe and find us more gold from places less explored. I still find Sugar more to blame than Levy for our position/stature as a football club. As per Sugar's biography, when he heard about the first huge Premier League TV deal, before it was announced, & went bragging to Man U - then probably a similar or even smaller club than us. No top player wants to come to us. They all know there is a cancer which still needs treating deep within this club. We are all fur coat and no knickers. Great training camp and state of the art stadium but we have cheapskate owners who want to maintain their mo of buying also ran players so that the club can hang on to eighth place in the league and keep pouring the big money into the property portfolio.
