Award-winning author Charlotte Gordon discussed her biography of Mary Shelley and her mother, Mary Wollstonecraft, entitled "Romantic Outlaws: The Extraordinary Lives of Mary Wollstonecraft and Mary Shelley." She then has a conversation with Washington Post columnist Michael Dirda. Gordon recently authored the introduction to the anniversary re-issue of Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein."

Speaker Biography: A distinguished professor of the Humanities at Endicott College, Charlotte Gordon is an award-winning author whose work has appeared in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and the Washington Post, among other publications. Her latest book, "Romantic Outlaws: The Extraordinary Lives of Mary Wollstonecraft and Mary Shelley," won the National Book Critics Circle award.
Speaker Biography: Michael Dirda is a Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist for the Washington Post Book World, the author of the memoir "An Open Book" and of four collections of essays. He was born in Lorain, Ohio, graduated from Oberlin College and received a doctorate in comparative literature (medieval studies and European romanticism) from Cornell University.
