Here in Italy we don’t have much money so…. There aren’t people that clean trains, walls…… I’M ITALIAN I’m sad that this country is so poorly maintained

@@Gio.Tha.Face1 I am spanish, and the situation here is almost like in Italy. No, it's not that there's enough money, what happens if that political corruption (specially in mediterranean countries like Spain and Italy) is so big, all what I know about Italy is that south is very poor ruled by a mafia, meanwhile north is where the industry (in decline) is.

Wow, what a creepy looking station, nevermind the graffiti covered train. No adverts, no tiling or any effort to make the station look more modern and inviting. No announcements either, and no electronic destination boards. I can't believe this is a fully functioning train on Rome's network. Looks like a third world city......somewhere like Nairobi or Karachi. Shocking that it's the Italian capital. Never understand why in mainland Europe they don't have higher platforms like they do in the UK. No one in the UK ever has to climb up to get into a train - those fold out steps are ridiculous! Also in the UK the train would not have overhead power and cables (if underground) and the railway would use 'third rail' or in the case of the London Underground - 'fourth rail'. Rails that have been electrified and run alongside the tracks.

@@robtyman4281 indeed. This is a secondary line. The service is guaranteed by ATAC, but the rest of the rail lines around Rome are FS with other standards. Decidedly superior like E464+Vivalto cars, or TAF or ETR521 Rock, ETR425 Jazz exclusively to Leonardo Express Rome - FCO Airport. All of this to commuter lines around Rome.

@@robtyman4281 Actually i take this line sometimes and it's not as bad as it seem. The first station (that where you have to climb up the stairs and the statue), is the city terminal and is lighted naturally from the outside, it's not as it is deep underground so especially at daytime is well lighted. There are ads in the station and even a bar and shop in the terminal. All the stations have announcements in English and Italian and there are electronic boards. So of course it's below the standards for a western city but i think that the impression from the RU-vid video of the Roma-Viterbo is way scarier than the reality. There is also a decent amount of people at every hour so you're never really alone.

The stations do have announcements and electrical destination boards.
