You must. It is so incredibly beautiful. Don't go with a tour group. Just linger and walk and savor. Stay for at least a full week. Walking in the morning, during the day, twilight, night is just so pleasurable. Food and gelato! Ahhh

ROME - THE MOST POWERFUL, and YET SO PEACEFUL. Rome a TESTIMONY to THE GREATEST EMPIRE THAT EVER EXISTED, from province of Hispania to province of Mesopotamia, from province of Britannia to provinces of AEGYPTUS and ARABIA. The Only city whose shocking and breathtaking beauty can bring tears to your eyes is Rome, as there is no equal to compare it to, visiting Rome is surreal experience

@@halimahalimed8930 We do not build courthouses and convey power through architecture and ornament in any style other than Roman, or Greco-Roman at most; Newly-discovered species are given Latin or Greek appellatives, not Arabic, not Chinese, and not French not even English, as lingua franca is reserved for common nomenclature. You may have noticed Greek in there, but there was never a Greek empire, for all their glory and philosophy. And for all their rice and mathematics, China and all her influence could not make it past Japan or the Gobi desert. Romans had a grasp of nanotechnology (Lycurgus cup), were masters of masonry (y’all pay money to come see their ruins, let alone all they stood as in their day), elaborated and ameliorated the standard and coding of law and record-keeping, and partook in what was essentially a globalized economy with many integral parts. Yeah, sure there were empires. Some really formidable ones, but the apex of empires was and always will be Rome; your feelings notwithstanding

@@sergpie well the first thing , there's nothing called Arabic architecture, the second the Roman architecture is from Greece and Italy , I don't really know how to explain this to you but the Roman architecture is influenced by another Italian kingdom was before the Romans and I think from them they got the Latin alphabet too , plus the french and European architecture is not Roman .

@@shubhammohapatra1582 Rome was the spearhead of modern, rationalist architecture from the 1920s to the 1960s. Look at EUR and the many apartment buildings built in the 1930s and 40s that look like streamlined Roman insulae.

One thing is never said about Rome: the large amount of public green inside the city, if you don't view it from the sky you don't realize it (also why you can't see it in its full extension). There are a lot of parks and villas; I'm Roman, so I'm (probably) biased, but I honestly don't know how many cities of this size make so much greenery available to citizens and tourists.
