Hi, I just came across your video because I’m travelling to Italy this month. I’ll be travelling from Canada. Since this is my first time leaving the country I’m not sure about the process. what exactly happens at customs or immigration? Do we get questioned ?
@hilifetravel8764
@hilifetravel8764 Месяц назад
@@00nisha72 first of all thank you so much for watching my video. I really appreciate it. If you have Canadian passport you should use electronic passport control it is very easy and fast. Once you go through that just stop at the Immigration officer’s desk and get a stamp on your passport. At the customs just use the green gate if you’re not carrying anything which can be described as prohibited in Italy like drugs or more than enough alcohol or cigarettes. I hope this helps you understand the process. I am sure you are going to have a great time in Italy. Please consider subscribing and sharing my channel sfor more updates and more informative content. To answer your question, there many buses that you can take to the city few of them runs all night from airport to the city and back. You can always take a taxi or Uber from the airport. Hi! Do US citizens use the automated system as well when we are flying back home from Rome or do we wait in a separate line?
@hilifetravel8764
@hilifetravel8764 3 месяца назад
Yes, as a US citizen you can use the automated immigration counter but it is different from the EU citizens. Once you arrive in Rome you will see two lanes one for EU citizens and one for all passports. In all passport lane they will ask you if you are from US, Canada, Japan, Australia or some other countries then you can use the automated immigration system. The process is very simple. You have scan your passport amd they will take a picture and if everything goes well the automatic gate will open you are through. I hope this helps you understand the process. Hi I just subscribed to your channel. How much does the shuttle cost? we are 4, (2 kids). we are looking for comfortable ride from fco to center city rome. any suggestions? how about taxi. thanks
@hilifetravel8764
@hilifetravel8764 7 месяцев назад
First of all thank you so much for watching my video and for your support. To answer your question, the cost of the shuttle is about 8 Euros. They advertise that the tis 6 euros but when you go to the ticket counter they said it has been raised to 8 Euros. In my opinion the best option is to buy the round trip ticket since it is 14 Euros and you can used it with in ninety days just don’t lose your ticket because it has a QR code which has all your information. Taxi ride to the city is around 65 to 75 euros depending upon the time and the traffic. Also taxi has limited space for luggage and in the coach there is a lot of space and it drops you in the heart of the city at the Roma Termini train station if you are four people the cost of four round trip ticket would be 56 euros where as single taxi ride would be around 75 euros. Rhe choice is yours. I hope that helps you to make your decision. Once again thank you so much for your time and your support. Look out for new updates and please don’t forget to like and share. If you have US, Canadian, or passport from Australia or New Zealand or Japan and few other countries then you can use the electronic gates where you scan your passport and the machine will take your photo if everything goes well then the glass doors will open up and all you have to stop and get a stamp from the immigration officer.
