At San Carlino we see two nuns from a Third World country. I remember the Christmas Midnight Mass at St Peter's. Lots of diminutive nuns who made me think of high school girls giggling at a sock hop. Nothing like the strict Belgian nuns who taught me in grade school.
Hi nice video. When I was at SMM, I asked to see the tomb of St. Pius V, but I was told it is a private chapel in the basement. Not sure if you know about getting access? I like to add there're nice restaurants around SMM. I also went to Santa Maria della Vittoria, it's almost a hidden gem, it's a very nice minor basilica. I need tips about going to St Paul's, St Sebastian's, St. Lorenzo's basilicas, these are out of the way. At the SS, there's il Palazzetto where you can get sun, food & wine!
@@pca1987 Thanks for reply.... I actually did a few years ago - been 7 years since my post. :-) I saw the Catacombs of St. Callixtus. I had a guided tour and it was so worth it. I walked also the Appian Way and visited churches like Quo Vadis Domine, St Sebastian's, St Lawrence's, etc. All worth it. Also great little winery restaurant around that area near Mausoleum of Cecilia Metella.
