Why Saint Paul ... "Outside the walls"? One of the 4 major basilicas in Rome, St Paul's Basilica is outside of Rome.
Due to the apostle Paul, a Roman citizen, beheaded and not crucified, his tomb will not be hidden and will become a place of veneration for Christians.
It is in this church that all the medallions of all the popes are found since St Peter, the current Pope Francis being always enlightened.
