I love this song it gives me so many memmories like when rome total war first came out it was like the best game ever, even today i still think its one of the best games outthere if your not a graphics freak. The song also reminds me of stuff of my past. Its relaxing
Yes, but to hear it you have to go the credits from the main menu. The woman also does the vocal for 'divinitas' and she is the wife of the man who did the instrumental music.
People who have to cheat to beat this game on hard need a lesson on histroy and just plain need to practice. Thank you for making this vid. This game deseves as much glory adds as possible.
I love every single faction of the game. Especially the weaker factions i.e. Armenia/Scythia/Spain... for you seriously gotta dig down and plan more and think more before each battle. For players seeking a challenge, try this... NEVER EVER save before a battle begins (no retrys) and play VH/VH. its a super tough challenge
yeah, so do horses. look, the power of a cavalry charge (or any charge) relies completely on the speed and mass of attacking forces. if the cavalry manages to punch through then that's it, game over. if not, their pretty much stuck there like commuters in a traffic jam and can be easily taken down. well, not easily, put I think you understand my point.
yeah, i had 300 spartan phalanxes against as many of the enemy as i could make, i even added some archers to the enemies army, but they couldnt flank because i was on a bridge, they got owned, i only had one casualty because he ran out of formation with a sword XD he still took down at least 12

dude try to do ANY custom battle and in rome the AI moves actually tryies to flank u in M2TW is preeeetyy much easy and in empire u got fuked cuz u got many enemies at the beginning,,,,,but not becuase the ai has a lot of potential....
actually puppyjaj they missed the REAL maniple battle of the legionaries in where they switched placed when they got tired and other thyngies that they missed and besides who cares BETTER GRAPHS with the same awesomeness

of course elephants work, they smash through anything my point is that INFANTRY AND CAVALRY should be able to charge through a phalanx(with losses), they shouldnt be halted like they get SPEARS BRAKE

mhmm thats way overkill, the units shouldnt be that effective, it should be more that the spears can be used againt one or 2 enemys and then they have to take up swords
