These explainer videos are terrific. The narrator comes across as a regular person who happens to also understand the play. How he explains why such hyperbole and other devices are used--to help us understand a feeling we are not experiencing--really makes sense. I had never heard or thought about the fact that the balcony was a post-Shakespeare invention
