Самый прекрасный, самый любимый фильм, только этот, с этими актёрами, очень люблю их, самые красивые. Готова этот фильм смотреть, смотреть и смотреть !
oh the Olivia Hussey and Leonard Whiting are amazing. I love Romeo + Juliet. but for completely different reasons. They're amazing in this version and this one will live on for centeries!
This was beautiful. I love this song. We're watching Romeo and Juliet in my English class and my breath was taken away when I heard this. For some reason everyone else found it obnoxious and annoying, but I can't get enough of it.. Ohhh I hope it's on ITunes.
Ive seen this version of the play 15 times and i never tire of it(: everyone complained about reading it and watching this but i thinkits wonderful and everyone said this song sucked but its amazing!! Better than what they play now a days -_- ugh i will forever love romeo and juliet
Haha…the world would have been SO happy if they had ended up with each other in real life. They were just so perfect and believable together. When they appear together, Leonard is very protective of her, and still looks at her like he loves her. But Olivia said in her book that, although she loved Leonard, and still does, they were always meant to be just great friends.
That's called the "aging process" and everyone who celebrates a birthday gets older???? What is beautiful about the actors playing a part so successfully in this Franco Zeferelli adaption is the "art", this is so well done, it's on the level of a "Michael Angelo"; it's generational and timeless, most people will connect and appreciate it when they watch it for years to come. Leonard and Olivia are frozen in time.
I Think shakespeare wanted to tell us, that FIRST LOVE almost always dies, it's not important that Romeo and Juliet drank some poison, or where and how they die, it's important, that Juliet is only 13 years old, romeo 15, and that first love nearly never alives, it's is tragedy about first love.
oh my crappin god. Same here. My teacher made us watch the video and the whole class was sayin he looks like zac efron. We were jokin and saying that its probably his grandad.
Ummm I don't think this song is meant to be thought of as romantic...just because it's in the film Romeo and juliet doesn't mean it should be portrayed as romantic or "soul mate" music lol. It does not really give the hint of love in my opinion, but I guess it depends on what you consider romantic. b(^.^)d
When I saw this movie after reading the play in school last year, I fell in love with this song. So glad I finally found it. It gives me chills, and that always sad feeling I get when I think about this play!
Haven't heard this song in maybe 20 years and it still brings goosebumps. It's the unsung love song from the soundtrack but just as good as A Time For Us!
I directed high school theatre in Wichita, Kansas for a while and we did Romeo and Juliet. I remember the jocks of the school coming in to watch the play and said to me that they'd never cry over a silly thing like a play. The play is a powerful comment on strife between families and in the end Romeo and Juliet both take their lives. At the end of the play that night, there wasn't a dry eye in the house. Even the jocks were shaking with grief because the actors were so good at playing the part
She is just gorgeous. I'm so envious. :P She made a perfect Juliet. Just the right amount of sweet and innocence, and naivety. Juliet was like a child, and this girl fit her perfectly. I simply adore this song. It makes me kinda wanna cry, then again it makes me nostalgic for a time gone away. And then again, it makes me want to go back to my ballet days, just so I can dance to it. :P
