Roy Romer Middle School was my teaching home from 2010 to 2021. This song summarizes my feelings about educating the young people of North Hollywood who attended this school. It is my sincere hope that every student at Roy Romer Middle School grows up to be an outstanding citizen of the community. My hope is that I have taught you well. Learn the valuable lessons in life like resiliency, hard work, and kindness to all. My name is Jim Friery and I am also a professional musician/songwriter.

Yes I have him in PE…he’s a good guy. Unfortunately I transferred out of Romer to City of Angels on Oct 18. I still love Romer, it was a good school to teach at.

NoneNone I had this guy is a PE teacher years and years ago when Roy Romer was just built, he was actually one of the only PE teachers that gave a shit about teaching kids the proper way to do things. Granted the song is weird, but he has some decent musical talent and he’s one of the few teachers I think I can think for actually interesting me in learning, even though I was a defiant youth at the time
