Samuel Liu went on a trip to Rompin Malaysia to try out the new X-Rap Magnum Cast from Rapala.
He had a tough day casting throughout as he encountered strong waves and big wind, nevertheless, he worked hard and was rewarded with some good fishes.

Wow! All the fishes you catch are what I consider monster sized fish. Alot of hard work but I think it's worth it :) Thanks for showing how to use the lures. Keep the videos coming!

hello i ask I use rod storm monstar pe 1 3 , 213 cm long, and reel shimano stradic sw 5000xg is it right for casting mackerel? line: pe 2.5 , 50lb leader , lure spoon 30g, Can you make a long cast?

I would like to see Mr Nigel or Mr Fredgo in this video because two of them is better while handling or control the game.. Not rushing and more professional... Just my opinion... By the way... This is also the best video... Keep it up 💪

Hello, they might recommend perfect rods for the bait. I bought some X-Rap Magnum Long Cast and Prey. Best would be Reiseruten. Which roles did you fish, Stella 8000 SW? Thank you. Greetings Andreas

Hi Andreas, thank you for the support. Generally we use 5000 size reel for our fishing here and rods wise is like PE2-4.

@@RapalaSoutheastAsia Thx for your answer. That's great I have 4000 - 6000 size reel. In Europe we using throw weight for rods, so let me ask which throw wight means PE2-4? I was looking for 2 travell rods for fishing rapala long cast and prey. It will be great if you can recommend me some. Thank you so much. Andreas

@@AnDy-dp6gp Sorry for not being clear, PE2-4 is the Japanese rating for strength that is commonly used here. For this Monstar Rod, the casting weight is 15-90g. As for the travel rod itself, follow Rapala SEA Facebook page as they will have some suitable travel rods that allow you to throw heavier lures like this XRMAG Cast & Prey

Fred goh and Nigel i prefer, more educated. And have details of tackles ( reel, rod, line, leader, lure models + lure weight etc) from each time the fish on. but anyway its a good video. Keep it up guys. I enjoyed all of your videos.

You may want to try rods like Gomoku Belize if you are using light jigs and casting light lures

Usually a 4000/5000 spinning reel is good, mainline about 30LB and leader 40LB is recommended
