Whenever I'm in a bad mood, I watch videos of Ron Artest and I laugh all my negativity away. I wish more athletes were like him and freely expressed themselves like Ron did instead of all the pretending. We miss you Ron.
Artest was one of my favorite players. He’s completely genuine, he’s hilarious, and the kind of guy I could go drinking with. He seems awesome. AND he played BIG in game 7 of 2010 finals vs. Celtics.
I absolutely respect this man. People are saying crazy about him, but lets look at this for what it is. He indeed admitted to mental health issues, and miraculously attempted to heal himself. This kind of self awareness, determination and success is suggested to people like Antonio Brown. “Someone, somebody, someone’s got to help AB.” All the while, Ron was in a similar situation, facing a permanent ban from the league. He turned it around.
Ron Artest is crazy, that's to be sure. And I realize that that's not the best way to describe someone. it was the great Dave Chappelle who said, "The worst the thing to call somebody is crazy, it's dismissive. I don't understand this person, so they're crazy. That's bullshit." but this guy has given us plenty of ammunition on that front. But I have to admit that last bit with the therapist was hilarious.

Ron Artest, a crazy mad man fighting everybody on the court, alltough he won the Metta World Peace award for LA Community Service (Good Boy), aswell, at the end (Don't shoot it) - Ron Artest was the MVP of 2010 NBA Finals Game 7 (Stickin in a HUGE 3 Pointer at the end of the 4th, extending Lakers lead to 4), So yeah, he is Insane, but with good heart and a good basketball player.
