i gave my life to Christ listening to this song in Spring of '94. I was alone in my dorm room. A friend had given me the tape, and it was my first time hearing it. I was struggling with what I perceived was God calling me to ministry. I wasn't living right and knew God wanted more from me. I heard this song and it pierced my soul. I cried like a baby... I thank God for Ron Winans and the gift of music to save my soul.
There is a deep depth in Mr Ronald winans that goes far beyond his beautiful voice, you can discern those people that have entered into the secret place of God it comes through so mightly their are so many people that have beautiful vocals but their are very few that have entered into the holy of holiess and have totally surrender their gift back to God ,im speaking for myself now that's why just beautiful voices dosen't do it for me because to be honest we can almost find that anywhere, but we cannot find many that have entered in that secret place with God ,because its going to cost you something to get their ,,,,,God Bless

This song had the spirit of God on it. I remember listening to this song as a young woman trying to find a deeper connection to God. Years later, I haven't heard it on the radio in years. I was going to work and the cab driver had this song playing. I was having a really rough morning one of my co-workers, the day before give me a hard time. I didn't want to go in but I was listening to that song on the way and it gave me all the encouragement I need. It was like Jesus was telling me that he was with me. Am so Thankful that my Heavenly Father and Saviour Jesus Christ All think of me. Allways has a answer for me! Amen

Then God slowed my ears and my heart down to listen to the words. From then, I was captured in the holy spirit. I thought I lost this song. Thank you Jesus.

Perhaps one of the most significant Gospel songs ever written and recorded. It touches your very soul. Something got to really wrong with you if you don't feel and get something out of this song and it's performance...The song has been around for a minute and I recall introducing it to the male chorus at my church in New York on Long Island. They were not keen on it but after teaching it and singing it the got it and it truly was a blessing. I still have my version and play it regularly on my CD . Ronald’s shared songs seem to always touch my heart and soul. I see the Lord when he shares (shared) his talents, instead of being distracted by his vocal talents or appearance. Brother Ron Winans left us the most important message and that is to consecrate ourselves for our purpose in God. His voice goes directly to your heart and is just as significant as it was when he recorded it. Then his brother BB pulls you directly to the altar at the end. This song is timeless. goodmorining I play this every morning my Condolences to Winans Family I didn't no he had pass but I declare his spirit is in his songs this helps me in my worship everyday helps me to say yes to Jesus him and Cece have beautiful worship songs the whole family is anointed I thank God for you all helping others not just me I had heart surgery I was home in May had went to the dentist left going home my back was hurting so I said since I'm out I'm going to emergency room I got there about 9 am they didn't finish up with me to about 10pm the results was my heart was operating on 80% 20% was not even working I found this son one day here on RU-vid what got my attention was the word Consecration been playing every since had my 3 month check doing fine thank God for healing and strength I found in this song
