Ronaldo was not the issue it is just the mix of attacking players around him. Bernardo should not have played on the right wing he doesn’t take on defenders and best suited at the centre. He should have played Neto, jota, cancelo or Felix on that wing that can actually take on defenders. Vitinha lacks the experience and should have given a run to nunes or neves in the centre they would have had more impact and have better composure in creating and taking chances. The left wing was good but they needed to a bit more composed in squaring the ball or making better crosses. Defence was good in tournament, Pepe is still a class act. All in all the midfield a-times lacked creativity and pace which dulled counter attacks
