Reason this doesn’t come off is simple.the microphone is too load,the backing track is too quiet and there is no sound from audience. So kinda comes off as a soulless performance. It’s simply the sound we are listening too is just badly mixed. As vocally think he’s got a great young voice.
I really Like this guy, I find him very genuine, real and not afraid presenting his authentic self ,he also has an amazing voice, unfortunately for me, and maybe its just this video, but I feel little to no energy in this or the crowd for that matter, it just seems something is off. I'm just not feeling it, but I really like Ronan, I think he is an amazing person. I hope this is taken as nothing more than constructive criticism I hope
I never understand why a gay person needs to announce or be proud and shove his sexuality on other people! straight people do not go round & telling everyone their preference. Who cares what you do with your ......It is nothing to be proud or shame. STOP all this division ,do what you like & shut up about it. Your privet enjoyment is yours , no need the song & dance about it.
I'm sorry Angela, but you are mistaken. Straight people announce their orientation all the time, every day. Everytime they flaunt a ring; every time they refer to a "husband" or a "wife"; every time they talk about who they are dating; everytime the ogle some member of the opposite sex. Straight people can't help themselves. They are always cramming their sexuality down our throats! From your comments, I must guess that you just feel straight people are "the norm" and that gay people are "lesser than." And that is exactly what gay people are fighting against.
He is very talented and I saw his performances on BGT. Amazing vocals he has but his voice has changed since then but is still good. Another thing is I dont understand about gay people like him... Are they born gay to begin with or enviroment factors or upbringing has moulded them to become a gay ?

As much as I like Ronan Parke I kinda agree with your comment. He has talent for sure, but he has changed so much, and not that being gay matter, cause it doesn’t but it seems to have changed his performance level.
I'm afraid I have to agree. I think one of his best performances after having won BGT was 'Defined'. His voice is still not bad, but I'm afraid it's not good enough to be a 'star' outside the gay scene. He probably realised that himself and thought: "OK, better that then nothing." Don't get me wrong, I've nothing against it (being gay myself, that would be kind of ridiculous), it's just that I'm sorry he - apparently - isn't good enough to get beyond that.
@@fritsmulder9136 your 'essay' on Parke is true (unfortunately), but he still remains a good looking and modest guy, that 's nice. His vocal ambitions are a bit over the top to say it kindly.
I remember when i see he for the first time, he it was just a kid and everyboody said "... He become gay..." and i say, " no way ! Is just i kid !.." So, they be alright and I be wrong ! Sadly !
