Ronda é uma cidade espanhola, inserido na província de Málaga, comunidade autónoma da Andaluzia, é tida como a cidade-berço das touradas.
Meseta rochosa a 739 metros acima do nível do mar. Está dividida em duas partes por um precipício conhecido como "el Tajo de Ronda" (penhasco de Ronda), por onde passa o rio Guadalevín, afluente do rio Guadiaro. Em continuação da garganta da escarpa propriamente dita, estende-se também um penhasco sobre o vale dos Moinhos.
Ronda tem comunicação com os municípios circundantes através de uma rede de estradas montanhosas com valor paisagístico muito apreciado uma vez que atravessam os numerosos passos de montanha da Cordilheira de Ronda, que oferecem aos viajantes vistas muito apreciadas. Os transportes por comboio são rápidos e comodos desde a inauguração das linhas férreas com ligação direta a Madrid e Algeciras.
A praça de touros de Ronda, propriedade da "Real Maestranza de Caballería de Ronda" é uma das maiores e mais antigas do mundo. O local inclui o Museo Taurino, que exibe a história das touradas, trajes e armas. Francisco Romero introduziu aqui as técnicas modernas de toureio. O local também acolhe eventos culturais e o festival anual Feria Goyesca, tornando-o uma importante atração turística da Andaluzia.
Há o parque da Alameda com varandas sobre o Tajo onde também está presente o novo Teatro Espinel, as igrejas do Socorro, da Misericórdia entre outras.

Rocky plateau 739 meters above sea level. It is divided into two parts by a precipice known as "el Tajo de Ronda" (Cliff of Ronda), through which the Guadalevín River, a tributary of the Guadiaro River, passes. In continuation of the escarpment throat itself, there is also a cliff over the Moinhos valley.
Ronda is connected to the surrounding municipalities through a network of mountain roads with much appreciated scenic value as they cross the numerous mountain passes of the Ronda Range, which offer travelers much appreciated views. Transport by train has been fast and comfortable since the opening of the railway lines with direct connection to Madrid and Algeciras.
The Ronda bullring, owned by the "Real Maestranza de Caballería de Ronda" is one of the largest and oldest in the world. The site includes the Museo Taurino, which displays the history of bullfighting, costumes and weapons. Francisco Romero introduced modern bullfighting techniques here. The site also hosts cultural events and the annual Feria Goyesca festival, making it an important tourist attraction in Andalusia.
There is the Alameda park with balconies over the Tajo where the new Espinel Theater is also present, the Socorro and Misericórdia churches among others.
