@@Arvanite As a non-native English speaker I'm already working on improving my English. Thanks for your constructive comment. I'm very enlightened now.
I just love her charisma and her stage presence. A little bit more improvement on the dance routine will see this easily sail through. Every year i'm like: Albania drops the song, I'm "meh" post-January: oh it's not bad March: YES ALBANIA!
I wish people realize the amazing work of this woman... the notes she is hitting and the changes, in cadence, are not easy at all. Notice that there are no back vocals on which she can rely on.
@@mileena622 yes but not as high as in songs like the one of Chanel, in which she can even not sing at all and you still listening voices at the same volume level
Not a fan of the way she dressed honestly, at some point it seemed like she wanted to move more but she couldn't because of the dress and heels. The performance however.... Top notch 👍😎🇦🇱 She knows how to dominate the stage alone wearing obstructing dress, can't imagine what she can do with dancers and the right outfit 😉
This was alright and proved that Ronela can sing live overall. I would've liked to see her dancing more as in the music video but then that's because I'm used to seeing that of course. That will improve once in Torino with the backup dancers and staging which I'm excited to see in the first semi-final when Ronela performs first no doubt.
Yes, I think that's the point... She wants to keep the final performance a 'sekret', because she already has announced that the performance on stage will be different with 4 dancers and I think she is also going to dance 😊😊
I seriously seem to be the only person in the whole universe who doesn’t like this at all. I can see no clear structure, no climax, no anything here. I mean, where is the song? I don’t like this "put your hands on my body, look at my curves, I want to f*ck you" attitude. I wouldn’t have noticed in Albanian, but, gosh, these lyrics make me cringe. What I like is the ethnic drops, but they have sadly been adjusted for a more conventional pop sound, which doesn’t have to be bad, but it makes it feel kind of flat for me. Her performance is pretty awesome, though. But I don’t like any of it.
Not everyone has to have the same tastes, but "where is the song? The climax? The structure?" Are you serious? She has a VERY high note before the final instrumental, what kind of climax do you want? Do you want her to sing an octave? Can you tell me where this "climax" you're talking about can be found in any of Serbia's, Australia's, Poland's, Germany's, Switzerland's, Greece's and 80% of the other songs from this year? 🙃 I can't comprehend why some of you think Eurovision has to be a depressing contest, full of tedious and generic ballads, honestly... 😡 We have never heard a song like Ronela's in Eurovision so far, but I've heard dozens of the songs mentioned above throughout the years...
@@tennisradu I am not talking about a climax in the sense of a big note. What I mean is some kind of build-up that culminates in some sort of highlight towards the end. All of your mentioned songs have got that. Albania has this little intro and then the song ends exactly in the same level as it starts. Most of the song is some mix of talking, shouting and singing, all combined with dancing and heavy instrumental. Then you have the chorus which appears two times, and in my opinion, that sounds really flat in comparison, while a chorus should be the song's highlight. The song's alleged highlight is the post-chorus which serves as a build-up for the upcoming dance break. After that, the song just continues and suddenly breaks off. I'm not saying that this is the objective truth, but it is what I feel while listening to the song.
@@bowser1166 Then you don't know what "climax" means in music, lol. 🤣 Climax is when the voice reaches very high notes or when the instrumental and bass start increasing in intensity. None of the songs I mentioned above has anything special or unique unlike Albania. The chorus is certainly the catchiest and most memorable part of this song, I truly can't understand how some of you consider the most basic songs "climactic"...
@@tennisradu And this is where you are indeed mistaken. A climax in music is a highlight as you described, but as the culmination of a build-up through more or less the entire song. And this is exactly what I’m criticizing about this song, because there’s no climax in the sense of a culmination of the song‘s build-up. Highlights just come randomly thrown in throughout the song that has no real build-up as the first "He he he heeey" is as much a highlight as just before the "ta marsha" before the end. I’m sorry, but I personally feel that a 3 minute song should have any sort of build-up, a structure that culminates in any sort of climax.
@@tennisradu And about the song being special and unique: Yes, I know it is as I already pointed out. Just uniqueness doesn’t have to mean you automatically enjoy it, though. Georgia this year is very unique. Do I enjoy it? No. And regarding the chorus: I understand if you find it catchy. For me personally, it doesn’t fit the rest of the song at all and it just adds a lot to the annoyance this song is making me feel. Sorry for trying to explain an unpopular opinion. I won’t bother again.
