The research focuses on the presentation and adaptation process of a Ukrainian refugee family. After the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine war in 2022, the family evacuated from Kyiv to Gothenburg. They have been consistently sharing their daily experiences on social media, gaining a large following and becoming influencers. Employing documentary practice methods, I intend to film their everyday challenges, combining content analysis of social media with in-depth interviews. By applying sociologist Erving Goffman's Dramaturgical Theory, my objective is to analyse their online self-representation strategies and evaluate how these strategies facilitate their integration into a new societal environment. This study not only reveals the individual adaptation process but also reflects the profound implications of post-war challenges and the resilience of the human spirit.
