literally a potato like litterly IF I WAS IN LOCK DOWN THE FIRST THING I WOULD DO IS HIDE CALL 911 WHEN THE GUY IS OUT OF MY CLASSROOM THEN WAIT THEN SAY HELP ME POLICE then i would text my friend
Once my friend I carpool with and I were sick, and my mom was about to pick us up, but while I was on the phone with my mom, her telling me that she was almost there, we were put on lock down. They didn’t say much, not wanting the middle schoolers to freak out, the didn’t mention the people they were worried about were actually on campus, but they were. I was in the nurses office with my friend, and it had a huge window on the front of it. The front wall was basically made of glass. We were in a small room in the back locked in with the nurse. Apparently the people had stolen a car nearby and ran onto the campus, to get away from the police. We were never told if they were armed. The worst thing was, they were hiding in the bush, practically in front of us. So if they did want to hurt anyone, we would be the first. They were arrested quickly and nobody was even interacted with. This was around the time when there were a lot of school shootings, so we were very lucky that it wasn’t that. Being honest, it was kinda traumatizing. Especially for my brother. To add to the stress, my friend I was with is diagnosed with pre-arthritis, migraines, and her medications were for older people, so it had odd side effects, so was kinda freaking out.
Believe me, the law enforcement officers in Michigan are no better than the criminals they're supposed to catch, why do you think Detroit is a crime infested rathole?
American school children go through lock down drills in case of emergencies like an active shooter around or in the school. It is crazy and sad, but reality.
I was in a real lockdown for 4 hours 48 people died 36 of them were kids 4 of of the other people were first responders and the others were teachers I got shot in the leg and I just played dead and they went away from me my girlfriend was right next to me but were ok but that's my lockdown story.

My lockdown story: We were in math lab and Mrs Coleman (our principal) came on the speaker and told the teachers to turn off all the lights and to get all us in one corner of the room. They also closed all the blinds on the windows. So there we were, on the floor, playing the whisper game, I was freaking out and I was also crying. ;-; Someone named Lauren, was calming me down and saying it was a drill. I eventually calmed down and stopped crying, but when we switched classes we found out that there was a mentally unstable man outside our school. So it was real. So I freaked out even more, and here I am typing you this story.
