From the November 20, 1965 episode of Shivaree, Ronnie Dove sings the first of two songs from that show, Kiss Away (this is the same version that appeared on the 45, and is the one on the Real Gone Music cd, except it is in stereo there).

Ronnie is still going strong and looks just as handsome as the first time I saw him in 73. I saw him last month (December 2016) and he sounds better every time I see him.

Hi Ronnie d?o you remember playing at Johnny's Supper Club in South Carolina?, I was out there with the Billy Dee Band? That was the good old days, They use to play at the Patridge Inn on Walton Way in Augusta Georiga!

Hey ronnie saw u in NY when I was a kid then u and your band used to play in Hampton VA in the mid 70s and we would come see you everytime. My mamma used to come and we used to toast with you favorite drink. we followed you to Baltimore too! I'm so glad to see you are doing well. may God keep you safe. xoxoxoxo

On this day in 1965 {November 27th} Ronnie Dove performed "Kiss Away" on the Dick Clark ABC-TV Saturday-afternoon program, 'American Bandstand'... At the time the song was at #31 on Billboard's Top 100 chart, two weeks later it would peak at #25 {for 1 week} and it spent eight weeks on the Top 100... It reached #5 on Billboard's Adult Contemporary Tracks chart... Between 1964 and 1969 he had twenty records on the Hot Top 100 chart; his two biggest hits both peaked at #14, "Right or Wrong" for 1 week on November 29th, 1964 and "One Kiss For Old Times' Sake" for 1 week on May 9th, 1965... And between 1972 and 1987 he charted six times on Billboard's Hot Country Singles chart... Mr. Dove celebrated his 82nd birthday two months ago on September 7th {2017}...
