There is a reason some men drink alone down at the ned of a bar. We are not all jerks and S.o.b.'s . Some of us actually believe in this stuff called love loyalty and integrity. To those who say ' a good man is hard to find' listen to the words of this song which so perfectly says what so many of us 'loners' at the end of the bar on Friday night sare trying to forget.

I started listening to Country Music when I was 11 yrs. old. We moved from Oakland, CA to a small country town a year after my oldest sisters death. Country Music is music from the heart. It touches a person deep down in their soul. And I can't get enough of it.
A great and classic country song sung by a great and classy country singer. The best actually. Ronnie Dunn continually delivers songs of passion, love and of the heart. It is why I love and listen to country music. It is songs like this that keep you together in the middle of the night when there is little else to believe in.

I love this song, and this entire album. Have listened to it so much I know all the songs by heart. Wish I could sing them like Ronnie does. My favorite album to come out in years.
I first heard Ronnie's voice while I was adding various music to some playlists. I ran across the ACM Girls Night Out Concert 2011...needless to say, his voice made my jaw drop as he sang one of Jennifer Nettles' songs. Yes, when it brings a tear to your eye, it has hit home with you, and it is like the person singing that song shares your heart. That's the only way to describe it. :) His voice makes me happy.
Music, is a great healer. This song helped me heal from a relationship I had to walk away from. Words with emotion matter. Our ears ARE connected to our hearts.

@Jafra45 I've got a similar story - Lived in El Sobrante, CA (12 miles north of Oakland) until a year ago, then moved to a small town in Texas. Moved because my mom died in early 2010. Ever since that, and moving to a small town, my taste in music has gone more country. Like you said, it touches a person deep down in their soul. They're is something calming about country music that I didn't understand until lately.
for all the times i've given into it and it got the best of me, you're damn right love owes me one, but then again, i came out about even. all of them were lessons and i'm okay....more than what i can say about a lot of others. they won't get back in the game again...:):)
