I went to iTunes to buy a Ronnie Earl song and came back with thirty-five. And I am still finding new ones. He is tasteful in solo and perfect in execution. It is as if a person isn''t there at all, it is as if the Spirit of the Blues has been shown to those of us lucky enough to find him. We owe this man! Thank you Ronnie, thank you.
He is absolutely one of the best ever. Plus a perfectly pure clean tone that is ironically a simple thing to to achieve, yet is used so little in this fake, fluff world.
I have seen Ronnie Earl at least 8 times. First time in Florida back in 1991 with Darrell Nulisch on vocals. Ronnie Earl is very underrated. A true American icon in the blues.
thank you very much this is the very much closest what I AM LOOKİNG FOR. This is the first and only modern version I FİND. I guess people dont dare to play a sexy song anymore.
I heard RE&TBs on the radio for the first time 2 weeks ago, Was wondering who this amazing Blues guitarist was. The DJ said it was Ronnie Earl and they were coming to Plymouth Ma. Got two tix for 70 dollars. The show was at the Spire Center a former church..pews and all. Sat in the front row, Was amazing. Got to see L&M Rhythm Kings for openers, They Killed it. And to top it off Diane Blue sang for the second half.. man the woman can take you to church! Great memorable show for 35 dollars a tick!!!
Never heard Eric Clapton acknowledge Ronnie E - maybe I just missed that? Of course he does not need any EC approval or anyone else's but i am just surprised.
