During the 2017 edition of Bristol's Slapstick Festival the organisers programmed a screening of Charlie Chaplin's The Great Dictator (1940) to coincide with the inauguration of Donald Trump as the 45th president of the United States of America. Preceding the screening a selection of artists performed, including Ronnie Golden and Neil Innes, who regaled the audience with a song written especially for Donald Trump.
